❓ How to use ScanQuick

1. Add your pages

Click the dropzone (or drag a file onto it). On your phone, this opens your camera directly — take a photo of the document right there and it's added instantly, no need to snap it first and dig through your gallery. You can also choose an existing photo — JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP all work — or drop in an existing PDF and its pages will be imported alongside your scans. Add as many pages as you need; each one shows up as a thumbnail below the dropzone.
2. Fix the crop if needed

ScanQuick auto-detects your document's edges and straightens it — great for real documents, receipts, and IDs. If a photo has a tricky background and the crop looks off, click the ✂ button on that page's thumbnail and drag the four corner handles to match your document exactly, then hit Apply Crop.

Uploading a photo of a person instead of a document? Check 🚫 Skip auto-crop before uploading — auto-crop is built for documents and can guess the wrong region on a portrait. Once you check it, ScanQuick remembers your choice for next time on this device.
3. Arrange your pages

Use ◀ ▶ to reorder pages, ⟲ to rotate one, and × to remove a page you don't want. Click ✎ to open the page editor, where you can highlight, redact, sign, or use 🩹 Remove Mark to lighten a faint stamp on your own document.
4. Enhance & protect (optional)

In the "2. Enhance & protect" panel, turn on Black & white, Clean background, or Sharper resolution to improve image quality. Click Extract Text (OCR) to pull out real, copyable text and export it as .txt/.rtf — this also makes your downloaded PDF searchable. Turn on Password-protect if you want the PDF locked with a password.
5. Pay once and download

When your pages look right, pay the one-time price with PayPal, Venmo, Pay Later, or a debit/credit card — no account or subscription needed. You'll get a license key: save it somewhere safe, since it unlocks ScanQuick on any device, forever.
6. Already paid before?

Enter your license key in the "Already purchased?" box to unlock instantly. Lost your key? Click "Lost your license key?" and enter the PayPal order/transaction ID from your payment receipt email to recover it.

🔒 Privacy Policy

What we don't collect

Your scanned photos, documents, and PDFs are processed entirely inside your own browser. They are never uploaded to any server — ScanQuick has no server-side access to the content of anything you scan or edit.

What we do collect

When you complete a purchase, we store your license key together with the PayPal order/transaction ID, solely so you can recover a lost license key later using that order ID. That's the only information stored on our servers — no names, emails, or document content.

Payment information

All payments are handled entirely by PayPal. We never see or store your card, bank, or PayPal account details. See PayPal's own privacy policy for how they handle your payment information.

Local storage

ScanQuick uses your browser's local storage to remember your in-progress pages and unlock status on that device. This data stays on your device and is removed if you clear your browser's site data.

Cookies & tracking

ScanQuick does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts of its own.

What you're buying

ScanQuick is a one-time-purchase digital tool. Payment unlocks the ability to download your processed PDF and gives you a license key for continued use on any device, forever — no subscription.

License

Your license key is for your own personal or business use. It is not to be resold, shared publicly, or redistributed.

Refunds

Because this is a digital product delivered instantly upon payment, purchases are generally non-refundable once a license key has been issued. If something went wrong with your purchase or the tool didn't work as expected, contact support@scanquickapp.com and we'll try to make it right.

No warranty

ScanQuick is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that OCR text extraction, auto-crop, background cleanup, or any other automated feature will be 100% accurate — always review your final document before relying on it.

Acceptable use

You're responsible for having the right to scan, edit, or process any document you use with ScanQuick. Don't use ScanQuick's editing tools to alter or misrepresent documents you don't have the right to modify, or to infringe someone else's copyright.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ScanQuick after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Black & white mode — cleaner, more print-friendly document look.
Clean background — whitens a solid/plain background around your document. Best for documents, not photos of people.
AI person cutout — uses an on-device AI model to cleanly separate a person from their background in a photo, without damaging skin or clothing.
Sharper resolution — 2x upscale that helps printing and OCR accuracy.

✎ Edit pages

Rotate & reorder — fix page orientation and order.
Highlight / Redact — mark up or black out parts of a page.
Remove Mark (🩹) — click a faint stamp or repeated mark on your own scan to lighten it.
Sign — draw a signature and place it on the page.

Yes. ScanQuick runs entirely in your browser instead of a mobile app, so there's nothing to install and no recurring subscription — just auto-crop, OCR, e-signatures, and password protection, the same core features you'd expect from CamScanner or Adobe Scan.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

No. Your photos and PDFs are processed entirely on your own device inside your browser. ScanQuick never uploads the content of what you scan.
